02:19 AM ET 05.28 | Listen, Alfonso Soriano isn't the most talented defensive players in all of baseball. That is just an obvious fact. He has had four different positions, yet he still manages to make errors. I'm not complaining. Fonzy is great. He is one of the best OFFENSIVE talents in baseball and has been for quite a while now. That said, even if there was a slight possibility that he could get an AB at some point in a tight game, possibly in extras, don't you take it? His bat speaks louder than his glove. Anyone could make an error on any given night, but no one can hit HR's and get on base in close games quite like a select few in the MLB. Alfonso Soriano is definetly one of those players. Now, Sweet Sweet Lou is considering taking him out for a defensive replacement, unless it is Micah Hoffpauir (If he's hiting like he has been) or Slammin' Sammy who is replacing him, I want him in there. Not to mention he has a gun from left field of the Friendly Confines. Attention Lou Pinella: The Franchise just gave this guy the biggest contract in Cubs History, that happened for a reason.
