It is in great sadness that I have to report that Vancouver Canucks Defensemen and two time World Junior Hockey Championship gol medalist, Luc Bourdon, has died in a motorcycle accident at the young age of 21.
Luc was driving his motorcycle in his home province of New Brunswick Thursday afternoon when his bike hit a tractor trailer on a highway.
Luc was an up and comer in the Canucks organization and played twenty seven games this season and was expected to play his first full season with the big club this year.
Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Saturday will feature a moment of silence for Luc.
The Canucks Management commented that they were deeply saddened by his death.
