Today in the 12th of 16 blogs I will briefly look at Russia.
Strength- Unlike most Eastern European teams, this side can get in the attack quickly and aren't necessarily your "hard-nose and stingy defensive" side like they used to be. With the come out of nowhere attack, they can be successful and with their speed they will confuse teams just as Zenit St. Petersburg did in the UEFA Cup this whole past year. Look for them to really come out and attack seeing as how they aren't a favorite and don't have anything to lose.
Weakness- This side's weakness is its lack of star power. In a group with Spain and Sweden, this lack of depth could hurt them. But Russia have a great draw and know that they shouldn't ruin this chance.
Player to Watch- For this team, I'm not watching a certain player, just a coach. Since Guus Hiddink's arrival in Russia, the side have played well and they showed it by putting England out of the competition. If Hiddink does his job as well as he usually does, the Russians have a chance at the Quarter-finals.
Prediction- The surprise of the tourney: Russia advance by coming in second in a very tough Group D.

Once again, thanks. Tomorrow, I'll look at Spain. Until next time, it's been Keeper and I'm out.

Haha, Group of Life. I got to remember that.
Good call on Hiddink, he is the guy to watch for Russia. He's just one of those coaches that can pull in surprising results. Russia has to be another dark horse
