Here is the face of the NHL playing for the greatest trophy in all of sports. He is out on the ice with a bum ankle still pulling almost 20 minutes a game. His teammates who did so well while he was out decide not to show up in the finals. Any time he touches the puck and pulls a move on the defense, he gets obstructed. The media asks him stupid questions like whether his team is playing catch up.
So what should Crosby do? Show some emotion. Let his teammates know that he is jacked. Here he is playing for what proves you are one of the best players ever. Quit being nice to the media for this series. Tell your teammates that you are not satisfied with their efforts. Do something! Show your teammates how bad you want this Cup. No one is going to blame you for not acting professional in front of the media. It will be understandable. If anything, your teammates and fans will rally around it.

He's letting his coach take the heat with his comments. Sid is being classy with the media but who knows what is being said behind the scenes.......

True, we don't know what is being said behind the doors, but I would love to see some emotion come out during a press conference.

Some of the veterans should be stepping up in the locker room AND on the ice and that is not happening. Gretzky probably didn't become a great captain until he took his lumps with some failure. It's too much, too soon for Sid, especially when things are going south in a hurry. Give him time to grow up a little and he probably will become the leader like an Yzerman that they need. If you remember, Yzerman and Gretzky just to name two guys didn't walk into the Stanley Cup and win. They both went through hardships, especially Yzerman. It will take some time but Crosby has a good supporting cast around him. It will be tough to win in Detroit tonight. That place will be absolutely nuts, especially with the Stanley Cup being there. I don't think there will be a game 6.

HE'S PISSED OFF YOU CAN COUNT ON THAT, AFTER MAKING A KILLING THE FIRST THREE SERIES, AND MAKING IT TO THE STANLEY CUP FINALS,THEY FINDLEY MET A TEAM THATS SHOWING WHAT IT TAKES TO WIN OLE STANLEY, THEY RAN INTO A BRICK WALL CALLED THE DETROIT REDWINGS, HE's PROBABLY HAVING DREAMS OF WEARING A REDWING JERSEY, HIS TEAM JUST FELL APART, BUT OUR WINGS DID THAT TO THEM, LEARN AND WEEP, HOPE HE DIDN't THINK IT WAS GOING TO BE THAT EASY !!!!!!!

I doubt there will be a game 6 too. Yea I realize that with Yzerman and Gretzky but only time will tell now with Crosby. I was just hoping that we would see some kind of emotion.
Good point with the veterans though. I kind of forgot about them (well to be fair there are like 2).

Amazing game last night. One of the best I've seen in years. That rivals the Peter Sykora goal in 5OT's from back in 2002 or 2003.
