Well, at the midway point of the season the Orange and Blue find themselves at a 4-4 record.  The toughest part of the schedule is behind them and they go into the "Dogpound" of Cleveland on Thurs. Nov 06,2008.  Anderson is not having his best game, having thrown for 3picks and no TD's the new look Bronco secondary is gaining confidence with every game. A Broncos win.  Playing @ Atlanta on Nov 16 '08, for the second straight road game and an early start 11:00a.m. is a sure combination for a Broncos loss.  Finally back @ home to host the "Dreaded" Raiders on Sun. Nov 23, '08 the Broncos have a breakout game, clicking on all cylinders and playing close to the perfect game they spank the silver and black with a 35- 7 embarrassment.  The next Sun. Nov 30th. they are @ the New York Jets for another early game, but this time they come in with a full head of steam and their running tandem of Selving Young and Rookie Ryan Torain roll all over the Jets defense amassing an incredible 355 yards on the ground for a Broncos win.  Division rival Kansas City Chiefs comes in to Invesco field on Sun. Dec 07,'08 and the Jay Cutler led offense has its biggest production of the season with Rookie Eddie Royal scoring 2 TD's from the strong armed QB and 1 TD from a kick return, an easy Broncos win.  Next @ Carolina on Dec. 14th. '08, with the running game and passing game hitting full stride and the Broncos rejuvenated defense stopping the run, the Panthers don't stand a chance.  A Broncos win.  It's the Buffalo Bills on this Sun. of Dec. 21 '08, the Bills running game is good, but the Broncos' Selving Young promised a 2,000 yard season and he's getting close having 1,902 yards to date and delivering another 100 + yard game to the home crowd which cheers the new NFL 2,000 yard club member and most important another Broncos win.  Traveling to San diego for the last game of the season on Sun. Dec. 28th,2008 the Broncos know they have the wild card locked up and the Chargers have the division crown in their pockets.  The Orange and Blue rest the majority of their starters from the second quarter on thru the end of the game and lose this non-contest, as San Diego rests its starters also.  These two teams will eventually meet again in the playoffs with the winner going to the AFC Championship to meet Indianapolis Colts.
