Today in the 15th of 16 blogs I will take a look at Switzerland, a team that is very underrated and they should be.

On June 7, the Swiss will take on the Czech Republic.  I know I've said this before, but this match will be their most important in the tourney.  If the Swiss have a good showing against the Czechs, then they have a small chance of actually doing something.  But with a loss, they are in the same boat as Austria already are in.  They need confidence, and I just don't see it coming.  They have one of the youngest teams I've ever seen in a big tourney, and with such young players you don't have experience and then you start thinking "Why are they out here?"  Hopefully this side will hold its own and not get blown out all three matches.  Them and Austria don't have much of a chance at all.

Strength- Well, I'll give them one thing.  They have a decent strike line, but with such a weak midfield they won't get the ball much and it will juts be pure mess.  That midfield will have to step up if they want to score goals.

Weakness- The midfield is what looks to me to be the weakness.  Besides Cabanas and Barnetta, they aren't that great.  I think this team will play defensive soccer, so they will only come forward when they have a decent counter-attacking opportunity and when they do, they will have to look for my Player to Watch.

Player to Watch- The Swiss have one big goalscorer, and his name is Alexander Frei.  The 28-year old has scored 35 goals for his country, including two in the last World Cup.  And they didn't score much besides his goals.  If Switzerland have any chance, Frei will have to come back, get the ball and score it.  And he just won't be able to do it enough times for them to advance.

Prediction- The Swiss, and Austrians, come out and prove why we don't need two hosts for this tourney by coming in 4th place in Groups A and B respectively.  We want England!

Once again, thanks.  Tomorrow, I'll wrap it up with Turkey.  Until next time, it's been Keeper and I'm out.

I want the Czechs to win. (I'm part Czech along with Russian)

If Frei can play like he did back when he was at Rennes, the Swiss team, carried by their public might give the Czech/Turkey a run for their money for the #2 spot. Portugal taking the #1 spot in my opinion.

Yeah, Frei never lived up to his billing, i thought he would be better.

But barnetta is amazing, they can make a run if certain players can find form
