Yeah, it's only been three days but I dont care. I wanted to blog. And I'm wired, so I'm sure I wont be going to sleep anytime soon.
1. Barracuda - Heart
Heyo! 'Tis some Heart, with a pretty cool performance from 1977, back when the lead singer was a string bean with some pipes. (strong vocal chords)
2. School - Supertramp
The album Crime of the Century has become one of my favorites ever since I decided to see exactly what Coletrain oggles about so much. Supertramp may have a weird band name, but they do have some phenomenal works.
3. The Legacy - Iron Maiden
OK, so it's not classic, but it's a great song by a classic artist. This is a 9:22 minute track off their 2006 album A Matter of Life and Death. The album impresses the hell out of me, mostly because the album is a total of 71:52 long, with seven of the 10-tracks being over six-minutes long -- this one included. And hey, the video features the LOTR. Wicked!
4. Working Man - Rush
Rush is getting old, and so is Geddy Lee and his voice. He sounds a bit strained here, but it still has great bass and guitar play. And Peart aint too shabby either...
5. Sympathy For the Devil - The Rolling Stones
Mick Jagger goes bat siht in this performance... pretty much why I featured it.
Yay, that was great, right? I know it was. Later, all.
