07:54 PM ET 06.12 | Hockey used to be one of the four major sports in the US. Now, it is on the verge of being replaced by Golf, NASCAR, UFC, and even Soccer. The lockout may have affected this, but it has to do with being on Versus. There are few people who get this channel, and a lot of those people don't even know they do. They only opportunity I had to watch the NHL this year was on Sunday afternoons, and during the playoffs. Hockey really needs to get its act together and schedule some games on major networks. Even going to a cable channel (Like the NBA) would be an improvement over Versus. Look at the Arena Football League: most people had probably never heard of it before, but now even people that don't like it see it on ESPN.
