For all the talk of the NBA Finals this week, the fact is that the greatest sporting event this week is the Belmont Stakes. Big Brown has many gambling addicts suffering through restless nights. But I have the inside scoop. In an upset for the ages the winner will be none other than WNBA's Rebecca Lobo.

Chicago is on the draft clock. While I am with many people in saying they should choose Memphis PG Derrick Rose, it isn't too late to take a flyer on a certain Johnny Kilroy. He did pretty well in Chitown if I remember.

The Lakers and Celtics open tonight in what will be their 11th meeting in the NBA Finals and already they have a secret weapon from the 80s: High shorts.

And memo to Phil Jackson. It's not too late to bring back the beast, Kurt Rambis.

At least we all know that if Kobe can't finish his remarkable run off that he can look at the 4 million dollar ring he bought for his wife to make amends. Don't think we forgot, Kobe-san.

In news that many FanNation members surely care about, Becky Hammon has defected to the Russian Womens' basketball team after her dream of playing for team USA died. This makes Hammon the second most famous Russian-American convert since Yakov Smirnoff.

This week's what the hell were they thinking award goes to Jason Taylor, the man who has mamboed his way out of Miami's good graces. Just look at this picture and tell me you take him seriously.

Judging from the look of the other dancer, this isn't about the dancing, is it?

Danica Patrick is back to whining again. For all the fuss people make about Patrick the fact is she has ONE win in her career. But don't worry Danica, people certainly take you seriously as a racer. Lord knows you don't use your looks to sell your...body of work.

Is that a tramp stamp on her back? Just checking.

Good blog. The Lakers should come out in the old jerseys and the short shorts for Game 3 in LA.

For the record, any tattoo on the bottom back of a woman is a tramp stamp. Bar codes included, baby boy.
