What is the deal with the Bulls and their coaching search. After blowing the D'Antoni deal it appears that they lost out on their second man, Doug Collins. For whatever reason it seems like the Bulls really want to blow this coaching transition, by failing to get their man. Who can the Bulls get that will give this team some legitimacy come the NBA season? Are they waiting for the Assisstant for Boston? This makes no sense to me. Fire Paxson and send Reinsdorf away. How can fans have any respect for a franchise like this. Terrible decision making by everyone in this organization.

they didn't loose collins...collins and the main man jerry both agreed it better if they went in another direction because their friendship is to valuable to risk. I think they are doing the right thing by going in another direction anyway what was collins record in the NBA? They will find the right coach to develop D. Rose over the next few seasons and guide them to championship contention.

I agree with Cyril it's the right move. Doug Collins wasn't the right guy for that job.

Collins was Paxson's man after D'Antoni went to New York. This man has been able to groom guys to play well in the NBA. He has the mentality of a college coach in the way he shows energy and desire to win. Young talent I think would relate better to a guy like that then some assisstant that has watched and not coached.
if it is not Collins I hope they are waiting to get the Celtics coach, Tibideaux. If that is not the right direction lets go after Tom Izzo from Michigan state. A profile coach with experience coaching young talent and winning. He said in an interview he would be interested in coaching on the NBA level. Why not interview him since Paxson has already talked almost every decent candidate available.
PS. they lost collins because they couldn't come to an agreement with him and made him feel like a goof for saying that he would llike to coach the bulls again. You hang him out to dry like that by not offering a contract you just angered and humiliated the man. Reinsdorf having a conscience and not hiring his friend, please. I don't by that excuse.
