FanNation | mendozaeight's Blog | White Sox hitting woes

So, Ozzie Guillen delivered one of his obligatory, bimonthly rants a week ago, venting his frustration with his 30-26 White Sox recent lack of offense. As usual, Guillen's diatribe was rife with obscenities and desperately lacking even a semblance of coherence or perspective. Guillen's threats to bench players if his GM didn't obtain some run-producers was an exercise in absurdity, and is doubtless wearing on Ken Williams' nerves by now. Williams, for his part, trying to play the cooler head in this drama, resorted to platitudes about getting his hitters to just relax, wait for their pitch and then hit the ball hard. You don't say ! I wonder if any other hitting instructors have endorsed this philosophy ? Let's see, throw out all the video equipment, get rid of the scouting department and throw out its reams of data.... and just get the hitters to relax, wait for their pitch and hit the ball hard. Fortunately, for the White Sox, they have a strong pitching staff and an offense bound to get better in spite of a manager who often reminds one of a demented monkey and a GM who believes the road to the playoffs involves acquiring a Zen-like tranquility.

Everything that has happened after that rant goes AGAINST this blog...they have had 79 hits and 54 runs in 6 games....i bet more GMs and managers wish they could have the fire that ozzie has to lite under his teams ****....why is it a bad thing that a Manager gets in peoples **** whent eh team isn't playing good? if you havent noticed these days when a team doesn't perform its not the players that go first....its the manager or coach....so id be yelling to if i was gullien....
If your not use to his rants then your not a fan or anyone who follows ball...they are normal and they come often, get use to them or who cares....and if you dont like them so mcuh then why write blogs like this, which just publicize them?
