In response to:
Blockbuster deal for Pistons, Nuggets?
Truth is, the Pistons would be willing to trade Chauncey Billups, and others, and the Nuggets are agreeable to listen to offers for Carmelo Anthony and others. The Pistons have point guard-in-waiting Rodney Stuckey, who took over when Billups strained his hamstring in the playoffs. An exchange of Anthony, Marcus Camby, Kenyon Martin and Chucky Atkins for Billups, Tayshaun Prince, Rasheed Wallace and Detroit's first-round pick (29th) makes the most sense (and dollars under the cap for the Nuggets) and is scary-good for both teams.

While I will miss Chauncy Billups and Tayshaun Prince,  Rasheed deserves to go.  He is a loser and a whiner. The great players do not cry about the refs, about "entertainment."  Rasheed just threw in the towel, ala Roberto Duran -"no mas."  He as the captain, lead his team to defeat not to victory;just as he did last year in their loosing series to Cleveland .

Carmelo 's youth will bring a new upbeat style of play and an attitude of grattitude.

I just don't see this trade actually taking place

Sheed is not the Captain of the Pistons. Billups is.

this trade would suck! I'm cheering for whatever team billups ends up with. I hate Melo, he plays no defense and doesn't rebound worth crap.

Did you actually use the words "Carmelo" and "gratitude" in the same blog? That alone is grounds for disbarment. LOL

i think good trade. melo is a great player. if your worried about ego and personality issues, we have delt with rasheed for 3 years, i think we can handle melo. especially now that we got curry running the show

wow? I like Melo's olympic play, but when he is back in teh real league, he forgets about stuff like dfense and being a grown up. I like him, but I can't see a piston in him. sheed had issues, but he busted his butt for portland all that time,. He came here as an older man helped us win a ring, and toned down a WHOLE lot.
