Looks like the scouts have are trying to aquire their newest foreign blood in Thiago Splitter 6'11" Forward from Spain, BUT not going to happen this season or next, becuase of the collective bargaining agreement, the largest rookie contract The Spurs could offer him is a little under a million dllrs, where if he stays in Spain he would bring in a little under 10 million, so he'll be staying in Spain IF HE HAS A BRAIN. Looks like for now the search will continue perhaps the free agent Mickael Pietrus, Tony's old team French National Team, or Manu's new Argentinian teammate Carlos Delfino, we'll soon see which direction The Spurs are headed.

I think peitrius would be a good pick up him and mahinmi would make our frontline more athletic than it was as well as younger as far as delfino maybe we address that spot through the draft

Yeah, the hunt is on so to speak. The name of the game right now is Patience, I posted The Big 3's numbers in the YOUNG BLOOD blog, and as the numbers show, the big three are playing consistently well, in this and ofcourse in last years Playoffs, so the question is not if or how it's only when will The Spurs be back in the Finals. The likes of Barry, Finley and Horry have got to be replaced by that of the like's of Sasha Vujacic, Samuel Dalembert, The Michael Redd's of the league or any of the other above mentioned names, younger fresher, and more driven talent is needed in San Antonio.
