I have not been able to get to a computer since Michael Strahan has retired, so I am pretty sure you have heard the news, but as an avid Giants fan, I would like to talk about his illustrious career.
Strahan played 15 NFL seasons, all with the New York Giants, he went to two Super Bowls, losing to the Baltimore Ravens in his first Super Bowl appearance, and winning the last Super Bowl against the New England Patriots. He went to 7 Pro Bowls, and was an All-Pro selection 6 times. He holds the record for most sacks in a single season with 22.5, surpassing Mark Gastinaeu's record of 22 set in 1984. He also is the Giants All-time leader in Sacks.
But I won't remember the Stray-Train for his stats, but for his personallity. He is one of the funniest players to play in the NFL and is also one of the best interviews. He is a regular on Fox's Best Damn Sports Show Period, and will likely become a host in the near future.
Please leave comments about what you think of one of the greatest Giants, and defensive ends of all time.
