Probably my favorite song by Edgar Winter Group...(Considering I've only heard this and Frankenstein, that's not a huge accomplishment...) Free Ride has some very catchy riffs and the singer looks high while he's "dancing"...

2. The Letter-Joe C.o.cker

I know it's a cover of a song by The Box Tops, but the guitar work that was put into C.o.cker's version makes it sound better, plus it's upbeat. I've been hearing the song for several years, and just now am finding how good it is...

3. Foreplay/Long Time-Boston

I've tried for years to figure out what the stuff at the beginning has to do with the rest of the song, and I've vome to realize, the answer is absolutely nothing...but...it gives the organ a featured role...

It's been such a long time,

And time doesn't wait for me,

It keeps on rollin'.

4. Evil Ways-Santana

Interesting story behind this song...in seventh grade, we played it in Jazz Band...I'd never played drums in a band before but our instructor still gave me the part, we actually were able to play it, and I've loved the song ever since...

5. Wheel In the Sky-Journey

I'm not a huge fan of Journey normally...they're good, but I normally just don't like them...this song however...has enough of a solo in it that I can get over the fact that the entire band (excluding the drummer) is wearing either a leather shirt or pants....It's just a good song...
