Since its inception 10 years ago I have believed that the MLS should play a September or October start until May. This way during the summer international trournaments like Gold Cup and Copa America the players are not missing club games. Currently, Moreno is leaving DC United for Bolivia to prepare and will miss 4-6 games. Let alone the number of MLS players playing for the U.S. National team in both of these tournaments, while players like Beasley and Howard don't have to miss their inseason club games.
