Hello, and welcome to my new (hopefully) 8 part series on the best, and worst, uniforms in the history of sports. I will be doing a blog for MLB, NFL, NBA, and NCAA football. This is purely my opinion, but feel free to share your two cents in the comment section.

Today, we will start with the best of Major League Baseball. Now, I am not 106 years old, so this list won't go back to, like, 1903 uniforms. But I'll do my best. These are, in my eyes, the best uniforms in the history of the sport. Here we go, we'll start with #10.

10. Kansas City Royals-Powder Blues (1973-91 road)

    A work of art. Few teams can pull off powder blue, but I love how it works with the dark blue. I miss the good old days of powder blue unis.

9. San Diego Padres-Army Atlernates (Present)

My favorite alternates had to get a place on the list. The camoflauge is amazingly cool. I love the color scheme, too. The only reason they aren't higher is that they only wear the uniforms once or twice a year. Still, an amazing look that they should make permanant.

8. St. Louis Cardinals-Road (Past to Present)

The dark blue and red colors are great. It has gone almost unchanged for years, and with good reason. I personally liked them best back in the '60s, but they are still some of the best in the league.

7. Pittsburgh Pirates-1948-1960s, 2000s

I love the vests. And i wanted to include the awesome Pirate uniforms at some time of their history, and this was at their best. Love the old school threads, too.

6. Oakland A's-Home (Past and Present)

Best color scheme in the league. I mean, dark green and yellow? Great. A jersey that rightfully has not changed much throughout the years. As long as they don't pull out the black alternates, its a gerat uniform.

5. Atlanta Braves-1990s through Present

Gotta love the tomahawk on the front of the jersey. I love the dark blue and red. Don't like the red alternates, but these are some of the best.

4. Washington Nationals-Current Home and Away

Their bright red is awesome. The logo is great, and their uniform font is great. I love the dark blue road unis, too. But the all-red just can't be beat. A lot better than old Montreal.

3. New York Mets-Orange and Blue (1962-Occasionally Present)

Been around since the start. The keep trying to mess with the original, but the classic works the best. With them through all the good years, and still around on occasion today, but not quite as good. Still, love the orange and blue.

2. New York Yankees-Home (Past and Present)

Pinstripes: what can you say? As much as I hate the team, they started the tradition. That uniform is as much a part of their culture as Yogi Berra and Babe Ruth. Pinstripes are awesome, and they are the only true ones.

And now, for the grand finale, the best uniforms in the history of baseball. Drumroll please............

1. Milwaukee Brewers-1978-1993

Don't know what they have to do with beer, but I love it. The glove logo is so original, and I love their blue and yellow. The script on the front was good too, and they occasionally switched things up a little. Still, the logo and colors were the best ever, and the Brew Crew should just ditch the new threads and go back to the classics.
