We are able to witness greatness.  Greatness' name? Well, it happens to be Tiger Woods.  I'm not a big golf fan but, it is one of the sports that I'm able to watch.  Even though I don't watch much golf Tiger Woods has my upmost respect.  Here's a guy whose first tournament back from injury is a major tournament.  He didn't even give himself any lesser warm-up tourneys.

Watching Tiger golf is a real pleasure.  His passion for the game is incredible to watch.  I didn't get to watch all of the playoff today but, what I did watch I was hanging off of every shot that both Woods and Rocco Mediate made.  It's just impressive the way that he can dominate.  It just comes so naturally to Tiger.  He just looks at home when he's out on the course.

What I did get to watch of that 18 hole playoff was incredible..by both golfers.  Rocco Mediate really looked like he wasn't scared.  There were times where Mediate could have just folded up and conceded the tournament to Tiger.  But, he didn't.  Mediate continued to push Tiger.  Mediate was a guy who at the beginning of the tournament no one would have picked to be in this position.  To his credit he had an overall very good tournament to put himself in this position.

As for Tiger...well he's just Tiger.  At the beginning of the tournament my dad, who is a big golf fan, was wondering about Tiger's knee and if it could hold up.  For a little while my dad was looking right, maybe it couldn't hold up.  But, in true Tiger fashion he just kept scratching and clawing(no pun intended) his way up the leaderboard.  To Tigers credit he just kept playing well enough to put himself in a position to win this thing.  He didn't necessarily win the tournament with his first 2 rounds but, he didn't put himself in a position to lose the tournament.
