19 The easy one here is (19) as in July 19th. The date splattered on MMA sites across the internet because it will be the inaugural event of T-shirt Company turned promoter, Affliction. Now the UFC is doing their best to throw a wrench in the plans by putting together their own free show on Spike TV, also on July 19th.
1 Of course as MMApayout.com speculates, well before July 19th, it might be that the UFC is under new management of sorts. Bartelsmann, a German company with a market cap in excess of (1 billion) Euros, might have just cleared the way to acquire a controlling interest in Zuffa.
375 Back to Affliction, they partnered with the clothing chain Buckle, who has more than (375) stores nationwide, to promote Banned, their July 19th event. This was an easy move for them as they already worked closely with the clothier.
18 As in (18,000) tickets have been distributed throughout Las Vegas...for free. In an extremely unique MMA/Boxing event put on by Banner promotions at the Thomas and Mack Center, fans will get to enjoy the action without paying a dime. The card will feature John Alessio and Pete Spratt, as well as Kim Couture (Randy Couture's wife) against Kim Rose, one of four MMA fights, along with six boxing matches.
