THE HUNT 4 RED SOCKTOBER
|

Yesterday the Boston Red Sox beat the Philadelphia Phillies by the score of 7-4.  It all started in the first inning when JD Drew hit a 3 run homer.  This was followed by a Mike Lowell solo homerun.  In the third inning, Brandon Moss hit a 2 run pinch hit single for Coco Crisp to make the score 6-1.  Justin Masterson had another stellar performance yesterday and against one of the best offenses in the league.  Jonathon Papelbon got the save.

Next two series:  St. Louis Cardinals , Arizona Diamondbacks
