
As the summer heats up, SIOC thought it would be fun to take a look at some of the nation's top athletic schools and determine who its all-time best athletes are. Last week we looked at Boston College's Top 10, and this week we're looking at Stanford's. With its rich athletic tradition across multiple sports, it proved particularly challenging to settle on Stanford's 10 best. Check out our list below (and our gallery) and let us know whom we underrated, whom we overrated, and whom we overlooked completely.

It may not be sexy, but water polo player Tony Azevedo is considered the greatest ever at his sport... and I believe was the men's health 2004 best athlete in the world.
