So Thursday night at the Elgin Theatre in Toronto turned out to be Sidney Crosby Night -- and I'm not complaining. The 19-year-old went home with the Hart, Art Ross and the Lester B. Pearson. Crosby became the youngest MVP since a guy named Gretzky. Next step for Sid the Kid: sip from the Stanley Cup.
The other winners weren't much of a surprise, though I felt Roberto Luongo could have edged Marty Brodeur for the Vezina. It's hard to do wrong with either netminder. The other category I felt could've gone differently was Alain Vigneault winning coach honors. He led the Canucks to a franchise-record 49 wins, but what about Minnesota's Jacques Lemaire or Pittsburgh's Michel Therrien?
What do you think about the 2006-07 award winners? Who got left out?
