The City That Works is hard at it. Both baseball clubs, the Beloved White Sox and the Bartmanless Cubs, herald at the top of their divisions. It's happened before, most recently in 1993, after the Bulls won their 3rd straight Larry O'Brien trophy. Well this year the Bulls won the first pick in the NBA draft and baseball is now the hottest ticket in town. The crosstown classic got off to a shaky start today for the Southsiders, but expect them to comeback like the rats in Wrigley. Season prediction: the Cubs will fade in September. The Grinder rules will of small ball will be back in effect. Chicago hasn't had a championship parade since the Sox won it in 2005, I think it's party time. Hey batter, batter, batter SWING for the fences... base hit. Okay, that'll work. Just don't leave 'em stranded. Bring 'em home sweet home, Chicago.
