Yeah so the first round is over and I really have one comment about the 12 defensemen taken in the first 30 picks, and that's dang. Still this year is good for defensemen so that sholdn't be much of a suprise that that many d-men were picked. Though I still am stunned that just less than half of all the players taken are blueliners. I guess time will tell whether that was a good choice. Yeah so other than that I guess nothing really unexpected happened, everybody went where they were generally predicted to go. I can't wait for the rest of the draft tomorrow then.
