Several blogs ago I had suggested the idea of giving boxing its own page on the Sports Illustrated Website. When I saw that it had been paired with MMA I thought it would mean more coverage on the Sweet Science. But lately it seems that the only thing SI is interested in covering is MMA. I realize that MMA and UFC is more popular than boxing, but that's still no excuse for not covering boxing news.
Case in point. Last night, Arthur Abraham knocked Edison Miranda out in the 4th round of their rematch. Espn.com had it up less than an hour later. SI.com hasn't even broken the news yet. Come on, guys, I know you're better than this.
