Yesterday, at Fenway Park, it was the first ever Jerry Remy day celebrating 20 years in the booth with the Boston Red Sox.  Jerry also played 7 years with the Red Sox. Well the Red Sox started the game great with a first inning solo shot by Dustin Pedroia.  The Sox would then give up four straight runs throughout the game and trailed 4-1 going into the bottom of the 8th inning. When Pedroia singled in another run.  Mike Lowell then doubled in two runs to tie the game. Then came a base knock by "El Capiton" Jason Varitek who got the game winning RBI and officially came out of his slump.  Jonathon Papelbon got the save.  Chris Smith got his first major league win pitching two strong innings in relief.  Kevin Youkilis was a late defensive replacement in the 9th inning.

Upcoming games: Houston Astros, Tampa Bay Rays
