I have a lot of respect for Kim Couture being able to withstand the punishment that Kim Rose inflicted on her in her MMA debut, but who is she kidding when she says she wants a rematch because, "I don't think she can whoop me?"

Uh, honey she already did. She split your mouth wide open and broke your jaw. If you haven't seen it already you can find it on MMA Root, MMA Tracker and YouTube (warning, it's pretty wicked). I'm wondering if Couture got brain damage because who is she kidding when she says this? I know that a battered face doesn't mean you lost, but when you're getting a titanium chin and you have three lips on your face...you lost.

She took Rose down and looked decent on the ground, but what I really want to know is, why the hell didn't the ref stop the fight? I've seen lesser injuries get an immediate stoppage, so why not this one? Is it because she's Randy Couture's wife? Because the match wasn't aired? How could the ref and doctor not stop the fight after one round? Besides the fact that the injury could've and probably was made worse by continuing, it could've led to another. I'm sure most of her concentration was on her jaw which meant that she was leaving other parts open to their own injuries. I could maybe understand the ref continuing it if it was a title match or main event, but it was neither and it was a competitior's debut. Stop the match to ensure a second one can happen.
