I don't know if anybody has seen the pics that were posted on SI.com concerning a new football game that is being released for several consoles but the whole premise just looks dumb. You have all time greats playing on fictitious teams? C'mon these greats like Elway and Staubach and Rice should be playing on the teams that made them great, not some fictitious league created by 2K games just because they lost the rights to make football games. I mean wouldn't there still be some legal wrangiling to use the players names? I mean I'm sure that these players were getting paid to have their names used as a part of this game. I don't know but either way this game just looks dumb and I would think not worth the money that people are likely to pay for it but I guess we'll just have to see how it all works out.
