Bronson Arroyo has never had a night like he did on Tuesday in Toronto. In fact, you can make a case that no pitcher had a night like his. He took the mound the face a staggering Blue Jay lineup in hope to break out of his recent struggles. By the end of the night, he only hoped that the word he could've used for his performance was struggled.

He started off by loading the bases. With 2 outs in the 1st and only a run across, it looked like Bronson would get out of this jam. That is until Scott Rolen hit a 3-run home run, followed by a double and then another home run, this time by Greg Zaun.

By the end of the 1st it was 6-0 Blue Jays. They had 7 hits in the inning. That's more hits than 5 teams had in 9 innings last night.

He got out there in the 2nd. Looking for a much better, quicker inning. The first batter he faced was Alex Rios. On a 1-2 pitch, Rios sent a ball over the wall into left field. That was continued with a single, then a RBI double by Matt Stairs, and a double by Scott Rolen. And still no outs. Dusty Baker made the long walk to the mound. Arroyo shook his head and headed toward the dugout. Embaressed.

Greg Majewski would come in and allow Arroyo's responsible runner in. Arroyo finished the game with these stats

1 IP , 11 H, 10 ER, 3 HR. His ERA jumped from 5.55 to 6.52. He became the sixth pitcher in Major League history to give up 10 or more runs without recording more than 3 outs.

Hope you didn't have this guy starting on your fantasy team last night.

It's part of the game though. We see things like this happen from time to time. So I'll leave you all with one question to ask yourselves. Was this the worst pitcher performance of  all time by a starting pitcher?

That's for you to decide.
