BIO NOTE : Looper is in his 11th season in the majors and second stint with the St. Louis Cardinals . Beside the Cardinals ( 1998, 2006-current ) , he has played for the Florida Marlins ( 1999-2003 ) and the New York Mets ( 2004-05 ) . He began his career as a reliever, but has worked his way into the starting rotation the last two seasons.
