I did this last night, but I accidentaly hit go back while on the internet and lost it so here is the blog.

1. Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls

This is an excellent pick for the Bulls, Beasley was looking like a good pick, but it was reported he was three inches shorter than his Kansas State playing height. Rose will improve a Chicago Bulls team that should make the playoffs next year.

2. Michael Beasley, Miami Heat

Not sure about the future of Beasley, all of the pre-draft news about him was negative, Pat Riley usually knows a good player when he sees one and if his gut feeling was not to pick Beasley he should have went with Mayo or Bayless. The jury is still out.

3. Oj Mayo, Minnesota TimberWolves(traded to Memphis for Kevin Love and Mike Miller)

Excellent day for Kevin McHale, first he gets Mayo, then he turns it into the player he really wanted to pick, Kevin Love, and gets Mike Miller. Kevin, you are almost forgiven for trading KG, almost.

4. Russel Westbrook, Seattle(Oklahoma City?) SuperSonics

Suprising pick with Jerryd Bayless on the board, but Westbrook will bring back visions of Gary Payton in a Sonics uni, hopefully in Seattle and not Oklahoma City. I have an off-topic comment though, how many rookies are going to pull a Steve Francis and not play for Oklahoma City? If rookies think Vancouver was bad, wait to they see Oklahoma City. Which brings me to the 5th pick, used by Vancouver's old tenants

5. Kevin Love, Memphis Grizzlies(Traded to Minnesota for Oj Mayo)

I am dissapointed, as Bill Simmons said, there was almost a Gay-Love era. This pick made sense seeing as they already have Rudy Gay, but it didn't make sense to take Mayo.

6. Danilo Gallinari, New York Knicks'

I have no problem with this pick. New York does not have that many players like gallinari. By this I mean players who fit in D'Antoni's system. Also Dalino will feel right at home in New York, with it's strong italian community. This means Danilo will be in New York for next season.

7. Eric Gordon, La Clippers

I like this pick. i could have seen Jerryd Bayless being picked here, but Eric Gordon is the better player. Gordon should be happy to get out of Indiana and not really care that he got stuck on the Clippers.

8. Joe Alexander, Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks are on a roll, first they get rid of the Chineese Vince Carter, Yi Jianlian, and get Richard Jefferson. Then they get the player they wanted, Joe Alexander. The Bucks are on of the big winners in one of the best draft classes in recent memory.

9. Dj Augustin, Charlotte Bobcats

Boo. Bad pick with Brooke Lopez on the board. The Bobcats already have Raymond Felton and they need interior play with Emeka Okafor taking the brunt of the post responsibility. MJ needs to get out of the draft room.

10. Brooke Lopez, New Jersey Nets

The Nets now have improved their post presence tenfold in the last two days. First they got the Chairman, now they have Lopez. They should improve drasticaly next season.

11. Jerryd Bayless, Indiana Pacers(traded to Portland for Brandon Rush, Jarret Jack, and Josh McRoberts)

Good idea from Indiana, they did not see anyone they liked so they traded for three young players who can make an impact in Indiana.

12. Jason Thompson, Sacremento Kings

Bad pick. Suprise of the draft. I understand he fits their needs at power forward, but they should have traded down. He was expected to go in the late-first round so why pick him 12th? This baffles me.

13. Brandon Rush, Portland Trail Blazers(traded to Indiana for jerryd Bayless)

Both Jerryd Bayless and Brandon Rush will do great with their new teams, Bayless will take the passing load of shooting guard Brandon Roy and open up the offense and Brandon Rush would have done good wherever he went.

14. Anthony Randolph, Golden State Warriors

Weird pick considering they picked basically the same guy last year, Branden Wright, one of them will be gone by the trade deadline.

15. Robin lopez, Phoenix Suns

With this pick signals the death of the Mike d'Antoni era in Arizona as well as the death of Steve nash's career. Nash needs open space, and with three big post players poised to play big minutes, that space is gone. Mediocre pick.

16. Mareese Speights, Philly 76ers

I like this pick for Philly. Mareese "the freak" has a lot of talent and he fits a need for Philly. He's a poor man's Elton Brand, plus this guy can flat out dunk, visions of darryl Dawkins in a 76ers uni right here.

17. Roy Hibbert, Toronto Raptors(traded to Indiana in the TJ Ford trade)

Good pick for the Raptors, and Indiana almost loses nothing really as Hibbert will nearly fill the gap O'Neal left, but is still developing.

18. JaVelle McGee, Washington Wizards

They needed a big, so they got one. If they develop this guy the right way, like they did in LA with Bynum, McGee will be a force in the nation's capital. Will obama be there to watch his games?

19. J.J Hickson, Cleveland Cavs

They should have taken local hero Kost Koufos from Ohio State, Hickson will pan out to be a decent NBA bench player.

20. Alexis Ajinca, Charlotte Bobcats

And with the 20th pick, the Bobcats select the French Kwame Brown. I think the Bobcats should have taken Brooke Lopez at 9 and went small at 20.

21. Ryan Anderson, New Jersey Nets

They have picked up enough post players before this pick. DeAndre Jordan could have worked at this spot.

22. Courtney Lee, Orlando magic

this is the new two-guard in Orlando after the JJ Reddick expirement failed. good pick at 22 since they had a need and got it.

23. Kost Koufus, Utah Jazz

And the whitest team in the NBA went from tan to extremely pale. Just jokes though, but Koufos could be a Mehemet Okur type player.

24. Serge Ibaka, Seattle SuperSonics

Good pick, he is a development project and the Sonics have time to develop him. Also post players from Africa turn out into good NBA players for the most part.

25. Nicolas Batum, Houston Rockets(traded to Portland)

This guy likely will not sign with Portland next year, so I will not waste my breath talking about this guy.

26. George Hill, San Antonio Spurs

Weird logic, Darrell Arthur would have fit in, but the Spurs do well with eccentric picks, so who knows?

27. Darrell Arthur, New Orleans Hornets(traded to Memphis)

Arthur is the Brady Quinn of the draft, but he was traded from Houston and Portland so you know that it is bad. He will do good in Memphis and likely start right away.

28. Donte Greene, Memphis Grizzlies

Here is a pure scorer who will not find shots playing with Mayo and Gay, I feel for the kid, but Chris Wallace is beating Isiah Thomas for the Worst GM of the Deacade Award with this draft.

29. Dj White, Detroit Pistons(traded to Seattle)

Excellent move, White will play right away in Seattle, he has to be happy about that, but he better pack an umbrella.

30. Jr Giddens, Boston Celtics

And doesn't everything just work the Celtics way? Here is a guy that has lottery-type talent, but has off-court issues, and falls in Boston's lap? I need to get Danny Ainge to give me lottery numbers.
