Whether you are in a Draft or Salary Cap League, tip sheets are very valuable. For those of you not in the know, what a tip sheet is: its a list of all players with their values based on last year's statistics, either by position, or just the 200 best offensive players overall.
When it comes to draft day or picking your team by cap, to have a tip sheet in front of you is an awesome way to have at-a-glance tool for every single player that can be possibly taken. Once someone is gone, you simply draw a line thru that players name. When its your turn to pick, you can either take the best offensive player available regardless of position, or you can go down your list and just look at wide receivers for example, and see who the best available WR is.
Tip sheets are much more valuable to Draft League players, but as stated above, since you are switching out your team each week in cap also due to injuries, matchups, bye weeks, etc., tip sheets can show you where the next best guy is to try to fit under the cap and add to your weekly roster.
If any of you guys have used tips sheets or want to know where to get them, let me know.
