Have any of you ever played or heard of Auction Leagues? Its where each player is issued a value in a $200 salary cap league and you pick your players via auction. For example, the starting price for Adrian Peterson in this type of league is $61. If you want him really badly expect to have to auction him upwards towards $70.

Just to give you an idea, here are some other player values in this type of league as their starting price before the auctioning begins:

Tom Brady, $53

Ladanian Tomlinson, $60

Tony Romo, $43

Randy Moss, $41

Terrell Owens, $37

Antonio Gates, $25

Personally, I dont play in these type of leagues nor would I. But for some....

My salary cap in the league I play in is $100 million for 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 2 TEs, 2 kickers, and one special teams/defense. The best thing about the league is player values go up or down based on performance, so you can get bargains, but if you sit a guy who is hot during his bye week and you have had him at his lowest rate since week 1, good luck trying to get him back the following week at his new highest price and still try to stay under the cap.

Thoughts?
