#1.
The Sooners are loaded in the backfield this season. They return last seasons passing efficiency leader Sam Bradford. A season ago as a Freshman Bradford had 36 TD's against only 8 picks. Bradford is one of the best QB's in the nation and one of the most accurate at 70%, completion. The RB corps are also very deep. Explosive lightning quick RB DeMarco Murray, is back and he had 13 TD"s and over 700 yards as a Freshman as well. Now that Murray will be the starter, and should be healthy expect him to breakout. Behind Murray there is RB Chris Brown, a solid back who has 15 career TD"s and has solid strength. Behind Bradford at QB Joey Halze who has some experience and is similar to Bradford.

#2.
I had a really tough time not putting the Tigers at #1. At QB Cullen Harper returns after having a great season with 27 TD's and only 6 picks, in only year 1 as a starter. Harper is a heisman dark horse candidate and is one of the best QB's in the nation. Behind him at RB this team has a pair of backs very hard to stop. James Davis is back after running for over 1,000 yards for the second straight season. Davis has over 3,000 career yards rushing and 36 TD's. Davis is called the thunder of the thunder and lightning combo, but he is actually very, very fast, but has great strength and ability to run between the tackles. CJ Spiller is one of the most explosive RB's in the nation, he has good size, but amazing speed. Both together make one of the best RB's in the country. Behind Cullen Harper is QB Willy Korn a former 5* recruit who was expected to start over Harper a season ago.

You are probably wondering why A&M is on this list, but they will be very good. At QB Stephen McGee returns for his 3rd year as the starter. McGee is a dual-threat QB, though under new QB Mike Sherman, McGee will not be scrambling as much, though they do want him to run the ball sometimes. McGee has over 4,000 yards passing and 24 TD's, and nearly 2,000 yards rushing and 11 TD's. McGee is capable at QB and should have a breakout season as a passer under Mike Sherman. At RB speedster Mike Goodson returns. Goodson can stop on a dime, and has some of the most amazing moves in the nation. He has over 50 career catches and close to 2,000 yards rushing in 2 seasons. He can find the endzone, and he has 12 career TD's. At FB the "J-Train" Jovorskie Lane is back. Lane played RB the past 2 seasons and is a redzone machine a la Jerome Bettis. In 3 seasons Lane has 0 fumbles and 44 TD's!!! He can run decent has over 2,000 yards rushing in his career to. Lane will get less carries at the FB spot, but will be the short yardage and redzone back.

4.
Georgia is another team that is loaded this season. QB Matt Stafford improved big time a season ago throwing 19TD's and only 10 picks, after as a freshman throwing 7 TD's against 13 picks. Stafford has loads of potential and many people believe he will be a top 10 pick. Stafford should continue to develop, but I am not as high on him as many are. At RB heisman candidate Knowshon Moreno returns after running for over 1,300 yards a season ago despite only starting 6 games and splitting carries. Behind him expect Frosh Caleb King to become a house hold name. King was a 5* recruit and had a great spring. Expect him to have a similar impact to the one that DeMarco Murray had for the Sooners a season ago. Behind Stafford is Joe Cox, a capable backup, though nothing special.

5.
Ohio State returns a ton of talent in the backfield. At QB last years starter Todd Boeckman returns. Boeckman is a player who I like more than most other Buckeye fans. A season ago Boeckman had 25 TD's against 14 picks. If you take away the last 3 games though he had 23 TD's against 8 picks. I expect Boeckman to play much better this season. Behind him their will be a battle. The #1 recruit Terrelle Pryor will be used similar to how Tebow was used as a Frosh at Florida, but Joe Bauserman, a spring star who I like should get play time as well. At RB this team is stacked. Chris "Beanie" Wells returns after running for over 1,600 yards and should be a heisman favorite this season. Behind "Beanie" is a plethora of backs. Brandon Saine is a player who will be in the backfield with Beanie a lot in the newly installed "Pony" formation. Saine is a great receiver and has blazing speed. Expect Saine to also return punts and licks this season and contribute significantly. Mo Wells returns, and he has plenty of experience. Expect Mo to catch a lot of swing passes, and he can run outside well. Spring star "Boom" Herron should also see carries, he is a former Mr.Ohio.

The Best of The Rest:
6. Florida (Tim Tebow, Chris Rainey, Emmanuel Moody, Kehstan Moore)
7. BYU (Max Hall, Harvey Unga)
8. USC (Mark Sanchez, Joe McKnight, Stafon Johnson, Mitch Mustain, CJ Gable)
9.Utah (Brian Johnson, Darrell Mack)
10. Fresno State(Tom Brandstater, Ryan Matthews, Lonyae Miller, Clifton Smith)
