If you were just going for modern, complex logos, then you might've been on to something. but then when I see you included Michigan State, I realize you're including simple classic ones too. If that's the case you made a huge error in not including the Longhorn logo. It is a researched fact, that it is THE most recognizable logo/emblem in all of college sports.

also the new LSU one is pretty good if we're including the modern complex ones.

These are just the ones that I thought were the coolest, some random mixes of simplicity and intimidation factor. This is why Iowa State won. I thought that Texas is too simple...just doesn't capture my eye. Michigan State's is very simple, but I think it's cool lol

Obviously my homerism wants me to see the Gators much higher. From a non homer standpoint I like most of them except Michigain State. The logo is sort of bland.

If simple is good, then Texas wins. If simple is bad, well then, you're wrong. Iconic images are well iconic, you know them without even thinking. Now if it were simple but not immediately recognizable, you might have a point. It's like you're saying the McDonald's logo is simple so it doesn't win, but it's one of the 10 most effective and recognizable images in the world. Same with the Longhorns. Plus you'll just find lost of college football experts who just think it looks cool.

1. Iowa State does not intimidate me or look cool. When I see it I think: "Wait, which is there logo? the bird? the cyclone? they're the cyclones, what's that bird about? and how can a little cardinal be cool inside a tornado? that thing would destroy him."

2. Arkansas I think: "good god that thing is ugly, why would anyone choose that as a mascot. It's not that I'm scared of it killing me, but more of it slobbering on me or giving me some disease"

3. MSU is a great logo, but can't help thinking about how USC is much more popular, even if the logo isn't as good. Yeah I know Trojans vs. Spartans, different, but still same general theme or whatever.

4. kinda cool but eagles are overused, a little too cartoony and who is SUU?

5. good mascot, but I just don't think the design is very good. I mean it's different, but in a bad way.

6. Tulane. don't see the logo, but I kinda remember. a wave is a little weird for a logo/ mascot. a little too modern and too busy for me. Isn't their a pelican involved? not cool.

7. kentucky? don't see the logo, but I think it's pretty good

8. pretty good, although I don't quite understand it. I get the U I guess, but no S or F? overall decent though

9. BYU. LOVE IT!

10. Florida. Like it a lot, but can't help but think they could've had a more classic historical one.

cool logos. i like all the collge logos they have so much history behind them like alabama,oklahoma,penn state notre dame,michigan thses all seem pretty plane but there the same logos that they had 50 years ago or more. i also like all the sec,big 10 and acc logos. the coolest have to go to the little conferences like the mac,con usa,wac,sun belt etc

I like to see the small school logos. Normally they have to be really out there to get attention. Those are cool. I will always like the Leprechaun the best though.
