Finally, Joe, thanks for getting fed up enough with the lackluster play of your team to and get in their face to hopefully motivate them.  You will have a challenge as this is what you face:

The Island of Indifference of Giambi at 1b, Cano at 2b and Abreau in RF.  While all are good players, they seem to throw in the towel quite early when things are going their way and forgot what effort on the diamond means.

Assisted Living Players: The Captains ranges shrinks daily, Johnny Damon has rediscovered his hitting stroke, but needs an arm transplant to get the ball back to the infield.  When David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez can score on you from 2B on lightly hit singles to LF you know whatever arm you never had is gone now.  Matsui is become brittle, Posada losing his pop.  Forget the greenies, break out the Geritol for this bunch.

The Not ready for MLB bench: The Scraton to NY shuttle is overbooked as the Yanks search in vain for good, young bench players with speed and ability to hit.  Instead we get Wilson Betmeit and AAA OF du jour.

Ptiching, what Pitching:  How cruel we see the resurgence of Mussina and the ageless Mariano, lose Wang and Bruney to foot injuries, Kennedy and Hughes to some made up injury to take the pressure off their lack of command and performance.  LaTroy, "Now you know why I was available" Hawkins.  Was Brain Cashman and the scouts asleep on the day when How to find pitching talent was covered in school?  Take a hint, steal someone from the Marlins organization so you can rebuild your pitching staff.

I am Island unto my self:  The timeless, ageless, play for me Arod.  Great player, just not a great leader or capable of motivating his teamates to perfrom better.  Instead of running around with bimbos, how about kicking some of your teamates in the butt to get them to play reasonable close to the high level you do.  Granted this may not get you more dates, but it could allow you to get the Series ring at some point before you retire.

Clueless Hank:  Your father was driven to succeed and made mistakes because he thought he knew more than everyone else about the organization, but without George the Yankees never would have come back to what they are and mean to baseball.  Unfortunately for Hank you are following in the footsteps of the Angelos sons, acting and staying stupid things, without the credibility to back it up.  Getting on the NL since they don't have the DH and your best pitcher gets hurt running the bases, guess what Hank, Bruney suffered the same injury while pitching in a AL game with the DH.  Please stay in Tampa and remain silent.

The difference between the Yankees and the Marlins, is that the Marlins have players who know that without the Marlins they would not be in the ML's and play accordingly.  The Yankees have players who think that because they are now wearing pinstripes they are superior to other ML's and play accordingly.  Wake up guys, all things being equal if there were not injuries and poor management decisions, you would not be in the ML's either.  Yankee history, tradition and Pride do not automatically transfer when you put on the pinstripes, you have to earn it.  Let's wake up and earn it.

Take advantage of the opportunity and play hard until the last out is recorded, not play to the last out so you can scope out the social scene in the city after the game.
