A few days ago, the Clippers and former Golden State point guard Baron Davis reached a contract agreement. Yeah, we all know that by now. After the news, I supposed that they were going to be contenders for the conference title because everybody was saying that they were going to re-sign big man Elton Brand and they would finally have a team complete with both a prominent point guard and big man. Well, the next day, I woke up from my dream a looked at the TV. Then I woke up from another dream. Before my shocked eyes, I saw that the Golden State Warriors had offered Elton Brand a contract worth 20 million more than what the Clippers were offering. At first, I thought that the Warriors GM wanted to get back at the Clippers for taking Baron from them. But then I looked at the Warriors roster. The only true big man they have under contract is only a 2nd year player in Kosta Perovic at 7'2. Sure they have other big men like Al Harrington and Stephen Jackson, but they aren't exactly dominant post players. So they go out and offer a big contract to Elton Brand, a dominant and true big man. In other news, it looks like the Celtics are in trouble. We all know that bench players like Leon Powe, James Posey, Tony Allen, Glen Davis, Sam Cassell, P.J. Brown, and Eddie House played key roles in their championship run. Well, guess what: 5 of the 7 listed are now unrestricted free agents, and none of them have been resigned. The only ones who aren't free agents are Glen Davis and Leon Powe. Some big names that are free agents are Emeka Okafor, Gilbert Arenas, Ben Gordon, Daniel Gibson, J.R. Smith, Andries Bidrens, Monta Ellis, Juan Carlos Navarro, Jason Williams, Sebastian Telfair, Andre Iguodala, kevin Ollie, Robert Horry, Michael Finley, and Jose Calderon. That's all I have to say. Thanks for reading!

Yeah, but the Celtics have JR Giddens and Bill Walker from the draft. Plus they offered Posey a contract and are offering Corey Maggette a contract he is really considering. Besides who cares about Cassell? He sucked anywyas when he was with us. And PJ Brown was a late pick up that we didn't need for the bulk of the season.

To sum it up, losing most of those guys isn't a big deal and they should bring in some good rookies and possibly even sign Maggette, one of the most underrated swingmen in the league.

Maggette is a good swingman.
