Sup people. This is my 6th blog and their all about the NBA. Alright people, I just had my first throwdown a little while ago, and even though I lost, I want to say thank you to the 23 people who voted for me. And good job Coach, you had some nice arguments. I saw on my Kobe Bryant blog, it has 500 views already. I was a bit surprised at the reception to that blog but I was like watever no point thinkin bout it. The fantasy draft hasn't been that lucky unfortunately, but its still a great blog people so read it. And now I reached the 30 friends mark. I know its not that great, but still. I want to make a shout out to the people who helped me with my blogging, like J. Hova. He's just an awesome blogger and he gave me tips the whole way. And Petey24, even though he's not a blogger, he still helped me alot with my blogs and gave me good advice. And thanks to everyone else to since you all made Fannation what it is today. Even Heat Fan, or whatever name your using now, all your crazy trade ideas are hillarious to read.

So I heard about Michael Beasley and Daquean(however yoGreg Oden is one of the many players who are going to have to prove themselves next year after injury.u spell it) Cook's dislocated shoulder. It's almost funny when you think about it, since the Heat's injury problem is just continuing into the offseason. Its really unfortunate. In other news ,there's gonna be alot of guys this year who were injured nearly all the year or all the year. Obviously everyone's gonna want to see Greg Oden play his rookie year late and prove himself, but other players who missed 70+ games last season are going to have to prove sthemselves. Everyone remember that injury to Shaun Livingston? Well, it was really bad for anyone who didn't see it. Will he be able to recover fully and play at full health next year, or ever again for that matter? That's gonna be seen probably next year. And as for all our favorite agent  Gilbert Arenas, he's gonna have some criticism about whether he'll be able to play at full health with his lingering knee problems. Additional criticism will be there because of the super contract he's getting into. Elton Brand had an injury to his Achilles Tendon that made him miss 74 games this season. However, I believe he will still play at full health next year. Etan Thomas is a lesser known player but is vital to the Wizards as he provides interior toughness. He missed this entire year after a heart surgery, but Ronny Turiaf is proof of how you can play at full health after a heart surgery. Will Etan be that lucky? We'll have to watch him next year to find out.

As usual, they'rs alot of rumors about players going places this offseason. Corey Maggette is considering joining the Spurs while our favorite bearded man B-Diddy is joining the Clippers. Back home for him. Meanwhile, Elton Brand has opted out of his contract with the Clippers like Maggette and even though he has said he will stay with them he probably will go to one of the many teams who want him. One of the other offseason regulars are the controversial events by Kobe Bryant or about Kobe Bryant. From the Colorado incident to the trade comments and Bynum disses last year to Shaq's rap about him this year(though admittedly the last one wasn't his fault), you know he's gonna bring you entertainment or someone's gonna bring some entertainment using him.

Alright people, that's it for todays NBA chat club. Keep logging in as I make some more, but until then, have a good day and don't forget to comment.

He's right. The facts will speak for themselves. They don't need your help. Keep up the good work.

The top picks from the last two years (Oden, Rose, Beasley) have all been injured before playing a single game...what, did they stop feeding milk to these kids?

Oden is on schedule to make his debut by training camp in Sept, so the locals are all anxious to see what he's made of, as I am sure the entire NBA is also.

I have to admit that if the Spurs end it up signing Maggette they will make a big improvement in the area they had problems in the playoffs,,,scoring...Maggette starting and Ginobili coming off the bench....watch out West...as the Clipps they also are reloading their guns,Davis will do for them what Cassell did 2 years ago, take them to the playoffs...and with Oden coming back from injury the Blazers are looking ahead for a great season....the West is getting stronger....

July 7, 2008  04:36 PM ET

i agree the west is gonna be dangerous next year

July 8, 2008  02:56 AM ET

The West could likely have 10 to 11 45 win teams. Scary.

Good blog. It'd be cool to know what you think more about the various trades. Who is the better team if they get the players they want? Who's the bigger risk, etc.

Nice job.
