What made you want to join NMI?
I saw all the sports chatting and wanted to chat along
What do you like best about FN?
The intelligent, well thought out points of view
What do you like least about FN?
The Idiots.
Any members of Fannation help get you where you are today?
Well, I'm in Iraq, so if any member got me HERE, I'd like to, um, TALK to them :-)
What do you (plan to) do for a living?
USAF
What are your goals in life?
Be a good family man, retire in 5 years debt free, get my degree, be a good provider.
If you could go to one sporting event before you die, what would that be and why?
I'd like to go to the World Series but only if the Twins were playing.
When did you first become a sports fan and what drew you in?
As far back as I can remember...it was a family thing.
What was/is your favorite subject in school and why?
History...I like knowing how things came to be.
Who is your greatest sports idol?
My favorite baseball players ever are Steve Garvey and Ryne Sandberg. I don't idolize, though.
Who is your greatest non-sports idol?
Again, I don't idolize, but I'm in love with Reese Witherspoon. Does that count?
What was the first live sporting event you attended?
LA Dodgers VS San Francisco Giants in Candlestick park.
What is your fondest sports memory?
Kirk Gibson homer to rip the spirit from the A's in the World Series
What do you do in your free time away from FanNation?
My wife :-)
What are your favorite teams and why?
Twins/Cowboys/UCLA/Notre Dame..in that order. Not enough room to explain how that happened.
What are your favorite aspects of/ acitivites on FN?
Meeting new people who like talking about sports
What have you've learned since joining FN?
That people have the weirdest ideas (Twins will finish 4th or 5th this year) and back them up with absolutely no logic.
What would you like people to know about NMI?
It truly is a group of people who have some sports knowledge and know how to communicate that knowledge.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why?
Um, I'd like to be less forgetful. I think old timers is setting in :-)
What is your biggest regret?
My first marriage
Favorite movie, band, food?
The Usual Suspects/Genesis/My wife's Chicken Enchiladas
What advice would you give to a new FN user?
Know what you're saying, or you'll be destroyed.:-)
