If those signs and fans wearing paper bags over their heads is any indication of the foreseeable future for this franchise Iwould say that this team from the looks of things is in pretty bad shape.
I mean if you want clarification of that just look at some of their first round picks in recent years. I'm not saying all were bad some were good but these are just a few of the bad apples of the bunch:
Charles Rogers: Drafted 1st round 2nd pick 2003, Status: Out of Football
Mike Williams: Drafted 1st Round 10th pick 2005, Status: Traded to Oakland
Joey Harrington: Drafted 1st Round 3rd pick 2002, Status: Signed as free agent w/Atlanta
In conclusion it does not matter whether it's in the draft or in free agency the fact that this team is 31-73 since 2001 shows the fans of the city of Detroit that he does not care enough about winning and is just there to make money. The Lions brass needs to wake up and show this man the door.
