Kobe Bryant recently reiterated his desire to be traded from the Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe wants to go to a contender, but the Lakers are asking for young talent that teams (like the Bulls) are too hesitant to give up. I personally feel that the perfect trade for not only Kobe, but also the Lakers, would be to the Charlotte Bobcats. This is how the trade would go down: The Lakers would send Kobe and their second round pick to Charlotte for Sean May, Raymond Felton, Gerald Wallace, Adam Morrison, and the Bobcats first round 2007 Draft pick.
This is why the trade would work. Los Angeles gets the young talent they desire in May, Felton, Morrison and whoever they select with that top ten pick from Charlotte. They know build around these guys, Andrew Bynum, and who they select with their own #1 pick. Kobe gets to go to a contender, right? Is Charlotte, with Kobe and Okafor, not now instant contenders in the NBA's JV league (Eastern Conference)? They absolutely are. Now Everyone's happy. LA has young talent, Kobe's on a contender, and the Bobcats have a face to their franchise that they've desperately needed since joining the league.
