Welcome to part eight of NMI's Meet the Members blog.  As you all hopefully know by now, NMI wants to help FN overthrow idiocy, making things as enjoyable and as fair as possible for everyone.  We hope you've checked out our previous interviews, located here: rstowe, porkins, NCshvDavidGoodellT-fo, Dusquesne, and Jimmer.

___________________________________________________________________

Today we'll be chatting with everyone's favorite Dark Lord of the SIFS...Hiya.

What made you want to join NMI?
There were so many factors... the aura... the mystique... the invitation. Well, actually, the invitation just about sums it up. If you're asking what made me accept that invitation, it's mainly the premise of having no idiots reside in our humble abode.

What do you like best about FN?
I'll have to say the hot dogs are surprisingly good... but it's really the large array of events you can partake in. Throwdowns, blogs, groups, and that's just a general overview.

What do you like least about FN?
I get amused by "the idiocy" pretty easily... so it'll have to be the unavailable functions that would make our FanNation lives more convienient.

Any members of Fannation help get you where you are today?
There have been several friends that have contributed to my better understanding of FanNation society, but I'll give a shoutout to Cardsox, and Big Ben68, who unknowingly left one of his groups open, and jumpstarted my FanNation career.

What drew you to join FanNation?
I actually enjoyed reading the Truth&Rumors section (at a time where members remained on topic), but in order to leave a comment, I had to create an account... and there you have it.

What are your goals in life?
To have as much fun as possible, without the taxes.

When did you first become a sports fan and what drew you in?
I first went to Yankee Stadium at the age of 7, but it wasn't until I understood the dynamics of the game and began watching the Yankees more often, that I became a sports fan.

What was/is your favorite subject in school and why?
- Math... it was the easiest for me. No strings attached.

Who is your greatest sports idol?
HOMER ALERT: I'd have to say Derek Jeter. He's accomplished things most people could only dream about. And, of course, he's on the Yankees.

What was the first live sporting event you attended?
Like I stated before, my first Yankees game was at 7 years old, but, unfortunately, I can only remember very little. I remember Shane Spencer hitting a home run in that game, and the Yankees defeated the Blue Jays 11-2(?).
 +  >

What is your fondest sports memory?
It has to be the last game I attended on July 4th at Yankee Stadium (I'm a season ticket holder for Friday games at Yankee Stadium), and it was pouring rain by the 7th inning. They were going against the Red Sox,
and the fans were great the entire game. The Yanks lost, though.

What do you do in your free time away from FanNation?
I'll usually be hanging out with my friends, playing some baseball, basketball, or football in the local park, or just relaxing for the couple of months that is summer vacation.

What are your favorite aspects of/ acitivites on FN?
Everything is great for the most part. There are always different activities you can do, and you don't have to try all of them to be a successful member.

What have you've learned since joining FN?
Many members like to believe this is their second town. There's also amob mentality with many groups, and the FanNation community as a whole. Don't step out of line, or you'll create a riot!

What would you like people to know about NMI?
No More Idiots is a well-run group where you can actually communicate with intelligent, socially adept members. There are no gorillas in here (Rstowe is an exception).
                                            ?

What has FN taught you?
Addiction can take hold of anyone.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why.
My habits... they are very... strange.

What is your biggest regret?
Spending over a year on this site, and still not getting bored enough to leave.

If you could have done one thing differently in your time on FanNation,
what would it be?

Throwdown much more. I like to argue when I'm not lazy. And most of the time, I'm lazy.

What advice would you give to a new FN user?
If you don't want your parents or spouse complaining, leave this site immediately.

Thanks Hiya.  You may resume running the world...
