Not a blogger, but since i figured this was long enough i copied and pasted it from the T&R about Tony "calling out" GM John Mozeliak.
Mozeliak is no schmo off the street, he's very similar to Walt especially in the way he adresses the media, remember he was basically Walt's apprentice so odds are he's already out their shopping. Now we do have an excess of OF and Anderson isn't going to be taking Yadi's spot so Mather and Anderson going elswhere could happen, and dont forget... if it's an American League team looking for pop in the order Duncan has been better of late and with him as a DH he could focus fully on his hitting and not worry about the OF.
All that said I don't feel the Cardinals have to make a move because the Brewers just aren't good enough. Even with 2 top end starters the rest of the rotation is very, very sketchy with no Gallardo. They also are one of the worst, if not the worst defensive team in the league and have all sorts of issues with their pen. They're hot now but look at the Astros, they were clicking until they remembered that Valverde was overrated and they just werent that good.....
.....All THAT SAID, if the clubhouse feels like they need to answer then a move may be worth the motivational lift and the loyalty to the team. Mather, Anderson, and Duncan could be enough to land an AJ Burnett because the Jays are a team loaded with pitching and lacking in offense outside of Wells, who is perpetually hurt and Alex Rios who struggles with consistency.
