My thearapt is having me do this blogging to battle the depression which sets in after the NHL finals...Here are the college football games that you MUST SEE, the ones you SHOULD SEE, and the ones that you might be tempted to watch, but DON'T BOTHER for week 2. As a whole, the Saturday slate isn't as good as Week 1, but there are a few games that might be decent.
MUST SEE
Nothing. If your team doesn't have a big game, then here is a thought. Take your girlfirend/wife on a weekend getaway, and also convince her that Akron at Syracuse is going to be the biggest game EVER, but you are willing to miss it for her....
SHOULD SEE
Oregon State at Penn State 2:30 Sat Sept. 6th ESPN
Honestly, there is no reason for you to watch this game between a mediocre Big 10 team and a poor Pac 10 team unless you are a fan of the Beavers or Lions. Except, I'll be there in drunk, shirtless, painted glory. Scratch that, I should probably put this under DO NOT WATCH UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SO HELP YOU GOD
Georgia Tech at Boston College 11:00 AM Sat Sept. 6th RAYCOM
This is in the should see category because we should be able to see it, but as of now we won't unless you have ESPN Gameplan (feel free to invite me over if you do). Both of these teams have talent in the lines and on the D. If the skill positions get it together, either could contend for the BCS.
Cincinnati at Oklahoma 2:30 PM Sat Sept. 6th ESPN
In a better week of football, I wouldn't mention this because it has a high possibility of being an Oklahoma blowout. I think Cinci's D will keep them around however, and a couple bounces could make this game great. Oklahoma is a top 5 team, and a Cinci win would be huge for the program.
DON'T BOTHER
Tenn at UCLA 7:00 Monday Sept. 1st ESPN
Two big-name programs...neither will have a big time seasons this year. UCLA had everything in place last year, and they still won only 6 games. Tennesee will be good, but they won't contend for the SEC playing in the East along with Georgia and Florida. I would expect Tenn to blow UCLA out.
Miami at Florida 7:00 Sat Sept. 6th ESPN
With another great recruiting class, you might think that Miami has a change to turn it around this year, which might lead you to think that this might be a good game. Miami is still at least a year away from being a top 25 team, and this will be a Florida blowout.

I think that Tennessee could have a big year this season,
They have a shut down defense, every starter back on the O-line, and A RB going for the career rushing record at tennessee. If there QB is half decent, they stand a chance of competing with Florida and Georiga
