Week 4 is all about the SEC (as much as I hate to admit that anything involving football is all about the SEC).  But a couple big SEC conference games along with a big test for Georgia highlight the week of football, as the big boys in other conferences all have byes or layups.  Seems like every year either week 3 or week 4 is everybodys bye week.  Unless you are a SEC guy, this will be a good Saturday to plan the last BBQ of the year...and come in every now and then to make sure you don't miss triple OT.   Or, if you missed out on building good grace w/ your significant other during Weekend 2, it would be a good time because all the conferences pick up starting week 5.

MUST SEE

Florida at Tennessee    2:30 Sat. Sept. 20th    CBS (probably)

Huge test for Florida on the road in a major rivalry game in a game you better believe Tenn wants some revenge from last year's beatdown.  Tennessee is good this year...in another year they would be favorites to play in the SEC title game from the SEC East.

SHOULD SEE

LSU at Auburn

This is as big a game in determining the SEC West as the above game is for the EAST.  Auburn is working on installing a new offense, but LSU isn't nearly the team from last year that needed a miracle to pull out a win against Auburn last year.  The winner here becomes the clear favorite for the SEC East.

Georgia at Arizona State

The fact that the game is is Arizona keeps me from expecting a blowout.  Arizona State had its best year in recent memory last year, and with Erickson having a full season under his belt I believe that the Sundevils are on the way up.  But they showed last year they weren't over the hump yet, with no real impressive wins and they won't get one this year either.  Still this could be a fairly close game and a big test for Georgia.

DON'T BOTHER

Notre Dame at Michigan State

I have a feeling this will be another blowout like last year.  I don't think that Michigan State has gotten the memory of Notre Dame's huge crushing comeback from 2 years ago.  That sent the Spartans entire season into a tailspin.  I just have a feeling that State will win by at least 20 points.
