Hey Brett, If you really cared about your legacy or the N.F.L. fans in Green Bay and all over the nation please stay retired. You don't want to put the Packers in a no win situation. They will get "Negative" publicity no matter what they do, so it's up to you to avoid this avoidable "Catch-22" for your beloved Packers. Brett Favre, how do you want to be remembered? When it's all over you can be remembered as one of the "Greats" of the N.F.L. or you can be recalled as being wishy washy about your retirement. The decision is yours, you can be like John Elway and ride off into the sunset with class or be like Jerry Rice and be pitied by all N.F.L. fans by tarnishing your reputation in various different team uniforms.

I really don't get this. Favre was retired for four months of the off-season and now he wants to come back. It would be really easy to pretend he never retired in the first place and now he wants to come back another year.
Favre can still play, and while I do feel for Aaron since he has been waiting for his time to shine, the Packers will do best with Brett Favre as their starting quarterback.
