New members to FanNation will not be familiar with Durrell. Durrell spent some time with us last year, and the Nation hasn't been the same since. You may have heard him mentioned, because often when one of the charter members reads a post that is either so unbelievably idiotic, insanely out of context, or hopelessly homeristic, the only logical response is "what a Durrell." It is with these irritating traits that the Durrell award was originally conceived.

Some more recent comments by some who shall remain nameless for now, have precipitated the resurrection of this award.  In order to nominate someone for the "weekly drawing", simply copy the quote, and post it in  the comments section of this blog.  You can submit as many entries as you feel fit the above criteria, and you can also nominate more than one person. If you haven't heard any good ones lately, you haven't been stopping by enough. There is a very distinct "clank" when they post. Listen carefully, it's there.

Each week our crack team of investigators (no pun intended) will review the threads and select our "winner." C'mon, this is the perfect opportunity to have some fun at someone elses expense. They deserve it.
