There are many different ways you could rank the top 5 NBA players- by what they showed the crowd, by raw talent, by how much they won throughout their career, and many more ways. The way I am going to rank mine is statistically.
My formula is add total PPG, RPG, APG, SPG, BPG, then subtract TOPG.
Basically, we're looking for the best all-time fantasy players.
Okay, so let's see here, first I will tell you the statistical breakdown, then I will give you the rankings:
Julius Erving: 37.2 Total Points-
24.2 PPG
8.5 RPG
4.2 APG
2.0 SPG
1.7 SPG
3.4 TOPG
Larry Bird: 40.3 Total Points
24.3 PPG
10.0 RPG
6.3 APG
0.8 BPG
1.7 SPG
3.1 TOPG
Wilt Chamberlain: 57.4 Total Points
30.1 PPG
22.9 RPG
4.4 APG
No BPG, SPG, or TOPG recorded in his record.
Michael Jordan: 42
30.1 PPG
6.2 RPG
5.2 APG
0.8 BPG
2.3 SPG
2.7 TOPG
Magic Johnson: 36.1 Total Points
19.5 PPG
7.2 RPG
11.2 APG
0.2 BPG
1.9 SPG
3.9 TOPG
Rankings:

I think the formula needs tweaking, you did nothing with FG%, FT%, and the most important stat Wins/Championships.

good blog though, but I disagree with the rankings, you left out a lot of great players.
