So when he says Marmol shouldnt be in the all star game, he shouldnt.
But seriously, I'm happy for the guy. He finally spoke up about constantly being snubbed from the all star game.
Heath Bell recently called Marmolair out for being the only RP selected to the all star game in place of Kerry Wood.
"Jul 16 Dan Hayes, of the North County Times, reports San Diego Padres RP Heath Bell was upset Sunday, July 13, when he learned that Chicago Cubs RP Carlos Marmol was asked to replace Cubs CL Kerry Wood on the National League All-Star team. Padres manager Bud Black said Marmol finished ahead of Bell in the player voting and was selected for that reason. "I'm more (upset) than anything," Bell said. "(Marmol) is a friend and I'm happy for him, but my numbers are way better. I'm not knocking him.""
And Heath has a right to be pissed. Hes the best reliever in the game with a fastball breaking 100 and a sick nasty slider. Last year he had 100 Ks!!! 100 Ks as a set up man is UNHEARD OF! This year he has his ERA low 2 and WHIP around 1. His Ks have been down but he is still pitching great. Meanwhile Marmol and his 4+ ERA make the team.

He should've made the All-Star team over Marmol.
Marmol is on the Cubs, and Chicago is a big market. They like to be biased towards big market teams.
