Seriously, this is going to take forever.  I'm looking forward to writing this blog b/c there are so many relevent games that you SHOULD SEE and that I can't wait for.  We have the best Thursday game of the season Oct. 23rd.  This is probably the biggest Saturday of the year for the Big 10 and for the Big East.  The ACC has some battles, there is an important game in both the Big 12 and Pac 10, and as always a big SEC game.

MUST SEE TV

Auburn at West Virginia    6:45 Thurs Oct 23rd    ESPN

I love heading out to a sports bar w/ my buddies on a Thurs night for a big college football game.  It was such a good move for the Big East play a game every Thus to give exposure to its new BCS football programs.  This is the best of the all the Thursday night games.  Auburn has a solid team and is a home win over LSU away from the SEC title game.  But this game is more about respect for West Virginia and the Big East.  A convincing win erases any doubt about their Big East schedule.

SHOULD SEE

Illinois at Wisconsin    11:00 AM Sat Oct 23rd    BTN, ESPN, or ESPN2

2nd place in the Big 10, and a prospective BCS bid could be in store for the winner.

Alabama at Tennessee   TBA   TBA

If Tennesse is really in the top tier of the SEC, this is a game they must have.

Cinncinnati at Connecticut    TBA   TBA

I doubt that Conn. is going to repeat is co-Big East chances, but this game is about which program can continue to build momentum from suprising seasons last year.

Michigan State at Michigan   TBA   TBA

This could be a dream season for the Spartans and this is the game they want the most.  And they very well could get this one.

Oregon at Arizona State    TBA    TBA

Like the Illinois/Wisconsin game, this could very well be for a BCS bid and 2nd in the Pac 10.

Rutgers at Pittsburgh   TBA   TBA

Pittsburgh has reached recruiting heights recently, and its time for them to channel that into wins and Big East titles.

South Florida at Louisville   TBA   TBA

Could the Big East get two teams in the Big East? Probably not.  South Florida will build on last year when they showed they could beat anybody.  Louisville will bounce back.  This is a must win for both teams if they want a crack at the Big East title.

Texas Tech at Kansas   TBA   TBA

This should be a fun to watch shootout.  Maybe one of those games where last possession wins.

Virginia Tech at Florida State   TBA   TBA

Is Florida State recovering?  This is probably their best chance to beat a possible top 10 team

DON'T BOTHER

Penn State at Ohio State    7:00 Sat. Oct. 25th    ABC/ESPN/ESPN2

These teams have a history of playing awesome down to the wire games in Pennslyvania.  Ohio State has a history of blowing out the Lions in the Horseshoe.
